Create a Connection
In this guide, you will learn how to create a connection using the Nirvana dashboard.
Connections provide secure, private links between your Nirvana VPC and external cloud providers such as AWS.
- In the sidebar, navigate to Networking → Connect
- Click Create Connection
- Fill in the form fields:
- Name (required): A descriptive name for the connection (e.g.,
aws-production) - Region (required): Select the Nirvana region where the connection will be provisioned. This should match the region of your VPC.
- Bandwidth (required): Select the connection capacity. Options: 50 Mbps, 200 Mbps, 500 Mbps, 1000 Mbps, 2000 Mbps.
- CIDRs (required): Select the Nirvana VPC CIDR(s) to advertise over the connection. You must have an existing VPC to select a CIDR.
- Provider Name (required): Select the cloud provider. Options: AWS.
- Provider CIDRs (required): Add the remote network CIDRs (e.g., your AWS VPC CIDR). Click the + button to add each CIDR.
- Tags (optional): Add metadata tags. Type a tag and press Enter to add it.
